Samsung has just about taken over as one of the top television set companies on the market. It has come down to them, Sharp and Sony as the best of the best. It has hard to argue dollars and cents, and that is where Samsung takes the lead.

It is ideal for the bedroom or to use your LCT TV as PC monitor. Bigger is always better in that regards and this is a fine set.
If you want to move up in class, give the Samsung LN46B630 46” 1080p LCD HDTV a good look. It will run you about an additional $500, but as you start to get up into these sizes, the prices really start to fly. It is a far cry up from the other sets at this level that are only using a 720p resolution and even with all of its features, is hundreds less than the competition. While it may be too big for a smaller bedroom, it is perfect for the master bedroom or any other main viewing area.
Once you get up to the next level, you are getting into some serious viewing. The Samsung LN52B750 52” 1080p LCD HDTV can be used as not only a television, but as a huge LCD HDTV monitor. In addition to all of the other features, this also has Discover Medi 2.0 and the exclusive ToC design. The images are absolutely incredible and something to behold. Be prepared to not leave your house for the first few weeks after delivery. With a price tag of about $2,800, you are getting quality at about 80% of the other sets.
For about a $100 more, you can get the best of the best. The Samsung LN55B650 55” 1080p LCD HDTV is about as good as there is. This is like having a movie theater in your living room. Sit back far enough and you will think you are in a luxury box when you watch sporting events. The picture and color are so true when viewed in HD that you can literally see the dew on the morning blades of grass.
When you are buying a LCD TV monitor, you do now want to skimp. Sure you can go with a discount brand and get a slightly better price, but the quality will be nowhere near what a Samsung brings to the table. It will cost you a few more dollars than the discount brands, but save you a ton over other name brands.
